Matt is a portrait photographer, retoucher and graphic designer based in London, specialising in marketing and editorial photography, primarily for the arts and entertainment industry.
National magazine credits include Time Out London, Time Out New York, British Vogue, British GQ, Q, Event, Red, Shortlist, Stylist, Hello! (UK and international publications), Heat, GT and the cover of NME. Images have also been created for - and featured on - Amazon Prime, BBC One, BBC Two, ITV, Channel 4, FIVE, Dave and Netflix US/UK.
Matt's comedy commissions include Fleabag (Soho Theatre), Russell Howard, Jimmy Carr, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, Rowan Atkinson, Dawn French, Joe Lycett, Sarah Millican, Catherine Tate, Jack Whitehall, Keith Lemon, Jamali Maddix, Armando Iannucci and the full 2018 Tour campaign for The League Of Gentlemen.
Matt was the photographer for Episode 1 of RuPaul's Drage Race UK, aired in October 2019.
Matt was commissioned by Aardman to photograph a series of portraits of Morph to celebrate his 40th year on British television. This series featured as a supplement in The Telegraph.
Matt's 2017/2018 work with Russell Brand includes his 'Re:Birth' tour artwork, press photography, artwork for his 'Under The Skin' podcast, and the artwork for his book, Recovery, published by Pan Macmillan. Matt photographed the artwork for The Russell Brand Netflix Special.
Matt's first book, '50 Comics' - a series of portraits featuring icons of comedy in the UK - was released in 2015 as a limited edition, in conjunction with an exhibition at The Edinburgh Playhouse.
